WBA press. March 12. The half point system, used by the World Boxing Association, will be applied in several fights that will be held this Saturday, in various boxing cards.
The first of them will be the light flyweight title champion, the Peruvian, Alberto "chiquito" Rossel with the Panamanian Walter "ratoncito" Tello, in the Coliseum Miguel Grau of Callao, in Peru.
Romina Arroyo will be the third person in the rign, and Gustavo Jarquin, Roberto Ramírez Sr and Rafael Carabaño will be in chargeof scoring thebout.
The half point system will be also used in the rematch between the Panamanian Roberto "La Araña" Vasquez and the Filipino John Mark Apolinario for the interim Bantam weight belt.
Levi Martínez, Carla Caíz and Nelson Vásquez will be scoring the fight, while the Puerto Rican Luis Pabon third on the canvas.
Sistema de medio punto se aplicará este fin de semana
Prensa AMB. 12 de marzo.- El sistema de medio punto, empleado por la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, será aplicado en varias peleas que se realizarán este sábado, en diferentes carteleras.
La primera de ellas será la que dispute el campeón minimosca, el peruano, Alberto “Chiquito” Rossel con el panameño Walter “Ratoncito” Tello, en el Coliseo Cerrado Miguel Grau del Callao, en Perú.
En el combate, subirá al ring como referee la argentina Romina Arroyo y las tarjetas serán responsabilidad de Gustavo Jarquin, Roberto Ramírez Sr y Rafael Carabaño.
La segunda refriega para evaluar a medio punto será la que revancha entre el panameño Roberto “La Araña” Vásquez y el filipino John Mark Apolinario por el cinturón interino del peso gallo.
La pelea será este sábado 16 de marzo en el Centro de Convenciones del Hard Rock Café Megapolis de Panamá.
Levi Martínez, Carla Caíz y Nelson Vásquez serán los encargados de los puntos, mientras que el boricua Luis Pabon el tercero sobre la lona.
