Tony Weeks will referee the flyweight bout
WBA Press. February 26. On Wednesday 27 there will take place the WBA flyweight title fight between Juan Carlos Reveco and the Japanese Masayuki Kuroda, at Todoroki Arena, Kanagawa.
Both boxers hit the scale without problems and are ready to fight. Reveco made the exact weight and assured that he is ready to defend his title. “I am ready, I just need to get on the ring”, said to the Argentinean press.
He said that the making the weight is always the most difficult part, before getting into the ring.
On the other part, the Japanese also made the weight. He praised the champion style. “He is a very strong fighter, who throws many punches”, and hinted he might become the world champion.
Tony Weeks will be the third man on the ring, while Phillippe Vebeke, Ted Gimza and Prommase Chak Chakshuraksha will be in charge of scoring the fight. Yang Sup Shim will be the supervisor.
Kuroda, is the ninth rated contender in the 112 lbs division, and has 21 wins, 3 losses, 2 Draws and 13 KO’s, while Reveco is undefeated in 29 fights with 16 KO’s and one Draw.

Prensa AMB. 26 de febrero.- Este miércoles 27 de febrero es la fecha para la disputa por título mundial mosca de la AMB entre el argentino Juan Carlos Reveco y el japonés Masayuki Kuroda, en la Arena Todoroki de Kanagawa.
Ambos peleadores superaron este martes la balanza y están listos para la pelea mundialista. Reveco marcó el peso exacto de la división y aseguró estar tranquilo para defender su cinturón. “Ya está, ahora solo falta subir al ring”, dijo a la prensa de su país después de cumplir con la balanza.
Acotó que siempre el proceso del peso es la parte más difícil, de la previa a subir al tinglado.
Por su parte, el retador japonés también cumplió con el peso exigido, y además alabó el estilo del campeón argentino. “Es un peleador muy fuerte que tira muchos golpes”, pero no descartó la posibilidad de acreditarse el triunfo, y por consiguiente, ser el nuevo campeón de la división.
Tony Weeks subirá al ring con ellos y será el referee de la pelea, mientras que Phillippe Vebeke, Ted Gimza y Prommase Chak Chakshuraksha serán los responsables de los puntos. Como supervisor se desempeñará Yang Sup Shim.
Kuroda, ubicado como noveno en el ranking de la división de las 112 libras, cuenta con 21 combates ganados, 13 de ellos por KO con tres derrotas y dos empates; mientras que Reveco, campeón regular de la categoría, se apunta 29 triunfos, 16 de ellos por la ruta del sueño con un empate.
