Alexander Povetkin (RUS), undefeated World Boxing Association heavyweight world champion goes for his third title defense against the former world champion Hassim Rahman (USA).

The fight promoted by Sauerland Event will take place on Saturday September 29, in Hamburg, Germany.

This week Povetkin and Rahman complied with the last press conference to promote the event. It took place in Germany and they posed face to face for the media.

Among other things, Rahman trained in public.  He look good and appeared to be very positive.

Tomorrow will take place the official weigh-in and will be the last time they see each other before the fight.

Povetkin vs Rahman este sábado / Campeonato Mundial Pesado AMB

El invicto campeón mundial pesado de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo (AMB), Alexander Povetkin (RUS), realizará su tercera defensa cuando enfrente al ex campeón mundial pesado Hassim Rahman (USA).

El combate, organizado por Sauerland Event, está programado para el sábado 29 de septiembre en Hamburgo, Alemania.

Durante la semana Povetkin y Rahman cumplieron con la última conferencia de prensa promocional del evento. El acto fue en Alemania, y ahí, Povetkin y Rahman estuvieron frente a frente posando para la prensa.

Entre otras de las actividades que han ocurrido durante la semana, estuvo el trabajo de entrenamiento público que realizaró Rahman. El norteamericano lució muy bien físicamente y se mostró muy positivo para la pelea del sábado.

La ceremonia del pesaje oficial se cumplirá mañana y será la última vez que ambos boxeadores estén frente a frente antes de su combate.
