WBA Press. October 26.- The World Boxing Association will host its 91st Annual Convention in Jakarta, Indonesia, from October 28 to November 3. During these meetings there will be the President Elections and the review of different Important boxing issues.
The site of this event is the Sultan Hotel, located in the capital of Indonesia, and it is ready to receive the attendants.
Jakarta is the most populated city in the country and according to the census carried out in 2008 it gathers about eight million people. It is the political, industrial and financial center of the country.
86% of its population is Muslim, most of them Sunni; although there are some Shiites, and some Albanian.
10% of the Population is Christian, 6.5% Protestants and 3.5% Catholic. 4% practice Hinduism and Buddhism.
During the celebration of the 91st Annual Convention, there will be chance to enjoy and discover Indonesian Culture, thanks to the different events and visits planned.
The tight agenda includes Directorate session, regional, treasury and legal reports among others, International Official and Medical Seminars, ending with a boxing gala on the closing night.

Yakarta está lista para recibir la 91° Convención Anual de la AMB
Prensa AMB. 26 de octubre.- La Asociación Mundial de Boxeo realizará su 91° Convención Anual en Yakarta, Indonesia, a partir del próximo 28 de octubre hasta el 3 de noviembre. Durante la misma se realizará las elecciones de las autoridades del ente pugilístico, además de una revisión de diferentes aspectos.
La sede del evento es el Hotel Sultán, ubicado en la capital Indonesia, que ya está lista para recibir a los asistentes a la Convención.
Yakarta es la ciudad más poblada del país, y según los datos del censo realizado en 2008 reúne a más de ocho millones de personas. Es el centro político, industrial y financiero del país.
El 86% de su población son musulmanes, de la vertiente suní; pero hay algunos chiitas, y otros que practican una versión del islam conocida como abangan.
El 10% de la población es cristiana, 6,5% protestante y 3,5% católica. El hinduismo y budismo representan el 4% de la población.
Durante la celebración de la Convención Anual de la AMB habrá oportunidad de disfrutar y conocer la cultura Indonesia, gracias a diferentes eventos y visitas programadas para tal fin.
La apretada agenda de trabajo incluye la sesión de Directorio, los reportes regionales, de tesorería, legal, entre otros, los seminarios de oficiales y médicos, además de una gala boxística la noche del cierre.
