The World Boxing Association, the Mexican Hernán “Tyson” Márquez, is celebrating another birthday today and the WBA family sends it warmest congratulation.
 
Born in Empalme, Sonora, received the 2011 Boxer of the Year. At present he has a record of 31 victories, 2 defeats and 24 KO’s. 
 
Hernan Marquez, was named “Tyson” for his boxing style, and became WBA champion when he defeated Luis “El Nica” Concepción, at the Roberto Durán Arena of Panama, on April 2, 2011.
He defeated Edrin Dapudong by KO in the third round, and then, once again, he defeated Concepción in a rematch on October 2011 in Mexico.
 
Marquez is training to unify WBO-WBA title with the Hawaiian Brian Viloria on September 29 this year.

Feliz cumpleaños a “Tyson” Márquez / Monarca mosca de la AMB

El campeón mosca de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo, el mexicano Hernán “Tyson” Márquez, está de cumpleaños y la Familia de la AMB envía su más fraternales saludos de felicitación.

El mexicano, nacido en Empalme, Sonora, fue reconocido como el Boxeador del Año 2011 por el ente mundial. Actualmente cuenta con marca personal de 31 victorias, con 2 derrotas, con 24 nocauts propinados.

Apodado el “Tyson” por su estilo de pelear, es campeón mundial de la AMB desde que derrotó a Luis “El Nica” Concepción, en la Arena Roberto Durán de Panamá, el 2 de abril de 2011.

En su primera defensa, derrotó Edrin Dapudong por nocaut en el tercer round, y luego venció nuevamente a Concepción, en la revancha realizada en octubre de 2011, en México.

Márquez se alista para enfrentar al hawaiano Brian Viloria el 29 de septiembre para unificar títulos OMB-AMB.
